Falskaar expands the roleplay in Skyrim to a whole new subplot. The free modification enhances Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to new areas and dungeons, 26 new quests, new weapons, spells, and armor.
Skyrim fan mod
The history of Falskaar begins near Rifton. At the market or in the local Bee Sting bar, you look for Jalamar. The mysterious person tells of eerie events at a nearby ruin.
The real adventure of Falskaar takes you to the Echo Deep Mine with reportedly more than 20 hours of perpetual campaign and 26 side quests, a new area, and many new challenges.
To install the Falskaar Skyrim modification, you have to first download the archive to your PC. Then unzip it using a program such as WinRar and move the contents to the Data folder in the Skyrim game directory. The default location is usually as follows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim.
A Falskaar uninstall isn't included. The manufacturer warns that if you find errors in the game, you shouldn't remove the mod during a current game. Before starting Skyrim again, you can first safely delete the following files from the Skyrim Data folder:
Recorded dialog is on a professional level
Falskaar adds completely new tasks and new intermittent, spoken dialog. Nearly 30 speakers have the English texts set to music. The quality is exceptional for a fan project and resembles a high-quality professional synchronization.
The mod adds 14 new soundtracks that blend well with the Skyrim atmospheric environment quality but don't quite reach the high level of the original game.
Conclusion: Probably the most elaborate Skyrim mod ever
Falskaar developer Alexander J. Velicky ends with a very unique request: He is looking for a developer job at the Skyrim Bethesda studio. The players benefit from his endeavor - they get a free mod the size of an add-on that's seemingly done by a professional.
Falskaar leaves all other Skyrim mods in the dust and excels in effort and perfection as compared with fee-based game services. It'll be difficult for other modders to surpass this effort.
